Date: Monday, June 23rd     Message: Well, its been quite a few days. First, Louisville was full of interesting and colorful characters, then a late night ride to Nashville. So much fun in Nashville. TV, signings, and an afternoon break to hit a shopping mall. I love shopping malls! And, best of all, lunch at Ingrams – the book wholesaler, where I signed 1700 books – a record!! And there was a great crew present who helped pass me the books and pack them up again. This group was fantastic! We played Usher’s new CD very loud and totally got in the zone! Dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse with Steve and Mindy and another midnight drive to Memphis. Our busdriver, Bobby, is great and a fine driver! Appeared at the Horseshoe Casino, Tunica, and met some really nice people – oh yes – and heard a few wild Elvis stories. Hmmmm... and people wonder where I come up with my ideas for future books! Signed copies of MARRIED LOVERS for two hours straight!! Lots of loyal readers in Memphis, some of them returning from my visit to the Tunica casino last year. Now I am on the bus again, watching The View while moving on to Birmingham Alabama. Click on photos on my website and check out the photos I am posting along the way. More soon...         Date: Thursday, June 19th     Message: From 99 degrees heat in New York to hail the size of golf balls in Pittsburgh ! The weather across America is crazy. So is my bus, I’m completely addicted! Did a ton of media in Pittsburgh and enjoyed the Primanti Bros. sandwich—meat, coleslaw and French fries between white bread. Tasty! Left Pittsburgh headed for Cleveland in my bus. Stopped at various bookstores, Targets and Costcos along the way. People were somewhat shocked to see me as I emerged from the bus. The girls at Target all left their registers to get their photos and signed books. Sold out! More media in Cleveland and the news that MARRIED LOVERS hit The New York Times best sellers list. From Cleveland to Louisville . More gambling? I think not. Stopped along the way at Johnny Rockets. How good was that?! Anyway, it is now midnight and once again, I am on the bus travelling towards Nashville . Steve and also Mindy from Harrah’s are with me. Everyone is drunk! I’m telling you, this is a fun bus! More soon...         Date: Sunday, June 15th     Message: Yeah, Atlantic City was amazing. 300 readers lined up for books. Caesar’s is quite a hotel, although that I have to admit that I hit the roulette table and did not do well. But a great dinner at Morton’s Restaurant made up for it. I’m travelling with Steve Troha, my Publicist from my publisher, St. Martin ’s. He organizes where I’m supposed to be and fends off over-enthusiastic fans. He’s also a lot of fun to travel with—apart from when he leaves his socks and underwear back in his hotel room and informs me that we have to go to Target to stock up. Hurray, I love Target! Fans and readers are really interesting, but sometimes leaving kiss-prints on my book is definitely not on my agenda. Philadelphia was great too. Another 300 readers—lots of my #1 fans. It’s so rewarding to meet people who love my books so much. Right now I’m on my bus heading for Pittsburgh . We just stopped at Barnes & Noble in Deptfort , NJ , only to find that they were sold out of MARRIED LOVERS! People were quite surprised to see me and my bus in Deptford but they were also disappointed that the store had sold out of my new book. There seems to be an instant demand whenever I write a new book. Thank goodness! I guess I should start writing faster! Since there were no hard covers left, I signed copies of my new paperback, DROP DEAD BEAUTIFUL—a Lucky Santangelo book. We are on the move again, more soon!         Date: Friday, June 13th     Message: NEW YORK IS FINALLY COOLING DOWN. PHEW, ITS BEEN ALMOST 100 DEGREES EVERY DAY! AND I HAVE BEEN SO BUSY OUT AND ABOUT ON EVERY TV SHOW AND RADIO SHOW GOING!! IT HAS BEEN HOT, BUT A LOT OF FUN. MARK STEINES OF ET FAME VISITED MY TOUR BUS, AND WE HAD A GREAT INTERVIEW. I SAID MY FAVE SNACK WAS PEANUT BUTTER CUPS, AND NOW MY BUS IS FULL OF THEM!!!!! MOST INTERESTING WAS DOING BARBARA WALTERS RADIO SHOW WITH HENRY KISSINGER. HE IS FASCINATING. THISMORNIG I APPEARED ON FOX AND FRIENDS, IT WILL BE ON THE FOX NEWS CHANEL THIS WEEKEND, AND EXTRA WITH DAYNA DEVON IS COMING UP SOON. DID THE TODAY SHOW AGAIN, THIS TIME WITH KATHY LEE GIFFORD AND HODA, BOTH STRONG WOMEN. IT WAS A BLAST. OKAY, I AM OFF TO JOIN MY BUS NOW!!! SHOULD BE QUITE A TRIP. ATLANTIC CITY, HERE I COME!!!!! MORE SOON...........         Date: Tuesday, June 11th     Message: It is 99 degrees in New York and the air conditioning is breaking down everywhere! People are stripping off in the streets! And since today is publication day of “Married Lovers” I am hoping they will run into their bookstores for a little air conditioning relief! Set off to do The View with great expectations as usual. Was delighted to find Regis Philbin was also on the show and he was sensational. I felt like I was following a top of their game comedian! However the ladies were warm and wonderful as usual. Sherri had her little boy backstage and he is beyond cute! Had fun playing with him. Whoopi and I exchanged bus information! Following The View, I hit several bookstores to sign books and got a great reception. Thanks everyone. More soon...         Date: Saturday, June 8th     Message: Vegas was fantastic! I was lucky enough to have one of my daughters with me and she made it even more fun! We ate at some fantastic restaurants and unfortunately because I was so busy I did not have time to gamble. Damn! However we did go to see Elton John who was his usual magnificent self. His show is well worth seeing. Got to go back stage and visit with Elton, Susan Lucci was also there so I got to visit with her too. The next day, I was the Captain of the Queens Of Heart Poker Team, which included Cheryl Hines, Joely Fisher, Camryn Manheim and Mimi Rogers. Such terrific women. From there I raced to the airport and jumped on a plane to New York. More soon.....         Date: Thursday, June 5th     Message: Hi Everyone This is the start of my tour for “Married Lovers”. I am in a Limo on my way to Las Vegas to launch the book. Currently eating Meatloaf Sandwiches and cupcakes from “Jones on Third”, Katie Holmes favorite café! Just arrived at Caesars Palace—So Cool!
